• Day/half day placements
• Extended work placements
• Work shadowing
• Supported placements

Each placement is designed specifically for the needs of each pupil.

Sparsholt College

Pupils in Year 11 have an opportunity to participate in a link course at Sparsholt College near Winchester. The course covers both agriculture and horticulture and takes place 1 day per week for one term. Pupils have an opportunity to gain a City and Guilds Certificate of credit towards horticultural skills tests.

BCOT

A small number of pupils in Year 10 will attend the Work Related Learning course that lasts for two years. The students follow a chosen subject leading to accreditation at the college one afternoon a week and attend work placement once a week over the duration of the course.

A further opportunity is available for all year 11 pupils to attend BCOT on a Friday morning to experience various skills/jobs that are available. Each course lasts for approximately six to eight weeks and provides an important link between ourselves and BCOT.
